Inpatient Pharmacist 13-Week Contract

Location: Lodi, CA

Hospital Type: 200-Bed Community Hospital

Duration: 13 Weeks+

Schedule: Variable Days/Afternoons

Hourly Rate: $70-$102.20/hr

IT Systems: Cerner & Omnicell

Exciting Opportunity for an Inpatient Pharmacist!

Are you ready for a new challenge? We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare team in Lodi, CA!

This 13-week contract is ideal for a pharmacist who excels in an acute care setting, ensuring safe and effective medication management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify medication orders and ensure proper medication utilization
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
  • Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and adjust dosing as needed
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians on medication therapy management
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations
  • Manage medication inventory and utilize Cerner & Omnicell systems
    • Requirements
  • Active California Pharmacist License (required)
  • Inpatient Pharmacy Experience (required)
  • Familiarity with Cerner & Omnicell
  • Flexible schedule ability to work variable days/afternoons
  • Strong Communication & Teamwork Skills
