Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• At least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility experience required within the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Licensure:
  California license (required for submission).
• Floating to additional units/locations may be required.
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living within 50 miles from the facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program:
  Medical Solutions Plus Program - (CA) Common Spirit Health
• 12 months between Per Diem at Program:
  Medical Solutions Plus Program - (CA) Common Spirit Health
• Pre-employment modules may be required; upload certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding.
• An interview may not be available prior to offer.
• Driver’s license required.

Unit Details:

Baby friendly environment; priority on initial skin-to-skin contact. NICU nurse attends all high-risk deliveries with an RT. Familiarity with documentation and perinatal initiatives; comfortable with a high volume of surrogates and multiples.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend with potential for more depending on rotations.
• Holidays: 2 out of 3 majors.

Floating Requirements:

• Postpartum – float first; may float to NICU as well.

Facility Holidays & Start:

• Holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days.

Certifications:

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ACNM/Basic Fetal Heart Monitoring
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
