Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: RADT Radiologic Technician

• Practice radiation exposure safety following the “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA) standard.

• Provide emergency medical support to healthcare providers during medical emergencies.

• Follow statewide standard radiology protocols and documentation requirements.

• Perform radiographic examinations with and without contrast media.

• Carry out special procedures such as routine fluoroscopy, drainages, biopsies, and myelograms.

• Develop and process X-ray exposures.
