The Talent Coordinator plays a key role in Kevin’s Natural Foods’ recruiting team, supporting full-cycle recruitment in our fast-growing organization. This role partners with hiring managers to understand team needs, manage recruiting operations, and ensure candidates are both highly qualified and a strong fit for KNF’s Humble and Hungry culture. The Talent Coordinator also supports associate engagement initiatives and HR projects that help keep our culture thriving as our company grows.

What

You’ll Do
  • Serve as a positive advocate for Kevin’s Natural Foods, consistently portraying a strong employer brand, and identifying candidates who align with our Humble and Hungry culture.
  • Coordinate the recruiting process from initial job posting through offer letter preparation, following established processes and guidelines.
  • Support recruiting across a broad range of functions, including administrative, production, and operations positions, both non-exempt and exempt.
  • Maintain and update the Kevin’s Natural Foods Careers Site and bulletin boards.
  • Ensure job postings comply with California and federal employment laws.
  • Manage inbound applicant pipelines and proactively respond to candidates in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively source candidates using Linked In Recruiter, Indeed for Employers, and other approved platforms.
  • Create and execute outreach campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, identify ideal candidate profiles, and establish hiring timelines.
  • Assist hiring managers with scheduling interviews and perform initial screening calls for selected candidates.
  • Assist with offer letter preparation using approved templates and compensation guidelines.
  • Assist with post-offer onboarding activities, including initiating background checks and drug screens, distributing onboarding documentation, and coordinating onboarding email communications.
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of onboarding schedules for new hires.
  • Ensure every associate has a signed job description uploaded into the payroll system once hired.
  • Follow up with new hires 30, 60, and 90 days after date of hire; same practice with hiring managers, to ensure associates are acclimating well and hiring managers are pleased with progress.
  • Track associate goals to support internal goal completion targets.
  • Assist with the creation of monthly PowerPoint slides for production break rooms.
  • Assist with special HR projects such as associate engagement initiatives, associate surveys, and other related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary.
What You’ll Need
  • 2–5 years of recruiting or talent coordination experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience recruiting across a broad range of roles, including administrative, production, and operations positions, both non-exempt and exempt.
  • Prior experience recruiting for a CPG, food manufacturing, or similar company is highly preferred. High-growth experience is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience using Linked In Recruiter and Indeed for Employers as an HR professional is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while following established processes.
  • Familiarity with California and federal employment laws.
  • Ability to trust your gut and read a room, weeding out candidates quickly who do not fit the requirements.
