Business Development Lead
Algorand's high-performance blockchain is optimized for institutional-grade finance and the next generation of decentralized economies. With a strong focus on tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and DeFi composability, we are building the infrastructure to power the global onchain financial system. We are seeking a Business Development Lead to drive Algorand's tokenization strategy across global financial markets. This person will be responsible for securing deep partnerships with asset owners, fund managers, and tokenization platforms, while supporting the integration of tokenized assets into Algorand's DeFi ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a well-connected, execution-oriented professional who can translate complex financial and technical ideas into commercial partnerships. You'll help shape Algorand's global presence in tokenized finance, deepen institutional engagement, and drive adoption of RWAs as composable assets in DeFi. Your network, market instincts, and go-getter mentality will directly influence how billions of dollars in real-world value move onchain.

- 7+ years' experience in business development, investment management, structured products, or capital markets, ideally in a front-office or client-facing role.
- Based in or with strong professional ties to a major global financial hub.
- Deep professional network across financial institutions, asset managers, tokenization providers, or institutional investors.
- Strong grasp of financial instruments and how they are being adapted for blockchain environments.
- Solid understanding of blockchain and DeFi mechanics, including RWAs as collateral, yield primitives, and cross-chain liquidity.
- Proven track record of originating and closing high-value partnerships.
- Experience with tokenization platforms or digital securities issuers.
- Familiarity with cross-chain and compliance infrastructure.
- Background in institutional sales, structured finance, or venture partnerships in fintech or digital assets.
