• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business Systems, or related field
• At least one certification : MCP, MCSA, MCSD, MCSA-SQL
• Current Microsoft certification for .NET & Web Application Developer
• Minimum five years of experience in n-tier application development with C#, XML, and Microsoft TSQL
• Proficient in MS Visual Studio : C#, TSQL, HTML 4 / 5, XML, XSLT, XSD, JavaScript, VBScript, .NET Framework 2.0 - 4.x, and Web Services
• Experience with software version control using MS Visual Source Safe or Team Manager
• Microsoft Server Administrative skills for Windows Server, SQL, IIS, and SharePoint web servers
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and technical writing abilities
• Effective time management and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project
• Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
• Programming knowledge in RPG 4 is advantageous

• Follow the System Development Life Cycle to create or enhance applications
• Assess user requirements and perform comprehensive system analysis
• Develop designs for user approval and create programming specifications
• Lead a team of programmers in code development and oversee testing phases
• Ensure the accuracy of technical and user documentation
• Direct ongoing maintenance efforts and conduct user training sessions
• Evaluate and recommend the best programming environments for application security, compatibility, and productivity
• Handle server administration and respond to change control requests
• Provide technical support to users and participate in IT projects as a technical team lead
• Collaborate with vendors on system integration projects
  
  Manage QA and testing activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, failures, and performance degradation
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation
• Supervise junior staff in application development and server administration tasks
• Provide on-call and after-hours support when needed
