The San Joaquin County Information Systems Division (ISD) is recruiting to fill one full-time Information Systems Specialist I vacancy. This recruitment will establish an eligible list which may be used to fill future vacancies.
As an Information Systems Specialist I on San Joaquin County's Service Desk, you'll be the first-person County staff reach when technology gets in the way of their work, and the person who helps get them moving again. You'll take calls, emails, and requests through Team Dynamix, troubleshoot hardware, software, account, and access issues, and resolve what you can on first contact.
When something needs to go further, you'll document it clearly and route it to the right team. You'll be part of a Service Desk that supports County departments and San Joaquin General Hospital around the clock, where a quick, accurate response can matter to public safety and patient care. Along the way, you'll help build our knowledge base, spot recurring problems, and improve how we deliver IT service across the County.
If you like solving problems, explaining technical things in plain language, and seeing the results of your work every day, this is a good place to start or grow your IT career.
