Our client is seeking a People Soft Functional-Technical Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

Pay Range: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour

Investigate complex People Soft issues by analyzing business processes, system behavior, data, and integrations to recommend practical solutions.

Gather and document functional and technical requirements for enhancements, integrations, reporting, and process improvements.

Act as a liaison between functional departments, Business Systems Analysts, developers, vendors, and other technical resources to keep work aligned and actionable.

Troubleshoot People Soft application, data, integration, security, and process-related problems using People Soft tools and SQL research.

Support testing and rollout activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, while documenting findings and recommended next steps.

Significant experience in senior-level business systems analysis, preferably supporting enterprise ERP applications.

Hands-on experience with People Soft Campus Solutions and the ability to work comfortably at a technical level for analysis and troubleshooting.

Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis experience, including testing support and system implementation involvement.

Working knowledge of SQL, People Soft Query, and relational database concepts to validate system behavior and research data.

Functional-technical understanding of People Soft architecture, data structures, security, integrations, and batch processes, including the ability to review technical components (e.g., People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, SQR) without serving as a primary developer.

Work on meaningful People Soft functional-technical consulting that directly improves enterprise systems and user outcomes.

Use your People Soft expertise to bridge business requirements and technical implementation with clarity and impact.

Contribute to troubleshooting, testing, and documentation that strengthens system reliability and integration performance.

Collaborate across functional teams, technical resources, and third-party vendors to drive solutions forward.
