Heritage cataloguing volunteers will volunteer to carry out project-based cataloguing to produce a collection of heritage information documents. You will support the sorting and organising of heritage information in relation to heritage projects and Stockton High Street locations.
- Research volunteers are expected to be needed to support on average once a fortnight for at least 2 hours.
- Some short term or one-off support may also be required.

We need volunteers to start working with us on various roles. See volunteer role information and apply via Stockton volunteers website.
- Sort and collate High Street buildings information for local heritage records.
- Capture and present information for activities, displays, social media and local press content as part of generating awareness and interest in a heritage project.
- Act in accordance with all Stockton Borough Council’s policies and procedures.
Skills Required
- Passionate about heritage and the history of Stockton.
- Ability to carry out relevant sorting/cataloguing in response to Stockton project themes.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with staff and other volunteers.
