Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Overtime available
Location: Stockton Office;
Travel to Sacramento may be required.

Position Purpose/
Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, this person will answer calls, assist drivers, and coordinate schedules. Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. This person must be detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize and follow through with work assignments. This position works closely with other departments, to benefit the company and assist with its overall success.
Travel to Sacramento may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and evaluate the possible need for implementation on route.
- Direct information regarding services to the appropriate person or division.
- Assist the team in a variety of duties, including but not limited to contacting drivers, updating routes, filtering calls, and handling pick-up scheduling.
- Assist with coordinating jobs on a daily basis.
- Assist with permitting.
- Assist with reporting for:
Pump/Dump manifest and DVIR - Work closely with Division Supervisors (need for additional routes, drivers, etc.)
- Follow-up on assigned tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Prioritize daily tasks and review any last-minute orders or changes to routes for missed or bypassed services.
- Communicate regularly with Branch/Area Management/Supervision and on upcoming projects or special events.
- Act as a liaison between field operations and office personnel to resolve general inquiries related to service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an open line of communication with customer service and billing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Skills:
- High School diploma/GED
- Experience in transportation planning is preferred
- Knowledge of GIS and GPS systems for tracking purposes
- Strong analytical skills to assess transportation data effectively
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Able to handle large tasks and prioritize importance of each project
- Ability to handle high volume of phone calls
- Focus on quality customer service
- Ability to multi-task and keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
