What you’ll be doing :- Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick products up to 100 lbs and move them within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
- Warehouse Porter: maintain general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside the facility while operating material‑handling equipment to move products.
- Warehouse Replenishment: operate material‑handling equipment to pick products up to 100 lbs and move them within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
- Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, manually unload trucks and palletize products, operate material‑handling equipment to move products.
- Warehouse Returns: match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, check in returned product and tag appropriately, operate material‑handling equipment.
- Shipping: organize, stack, and shrink‑wrap customer orders on pallets, load trucks manually, lift, lower, and carry product in a fast‑paced environment, maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Please note, as an SC2 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed.
You will be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers.

What you bring to the table:- Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary equipment.
- Willingness to keep work area clean.
- Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to forge relationships and foster collaboration.
- Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
- Full‑time associates must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business need.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
- Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100 % of the time.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker helpful.
