As a Semi Senior/Senior Accountant your role will involve:

• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of bookkeeping services using Xero or Quickbooks from incomplete client’s records
• Preparation of business and statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards
• Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
• Liaising with clients over matters arising
• Advising on personal and tax liabilities
• Supervise and support more junior colleagues in their tasks

• Familiarity with preparing statutory accounts
• Basic knowledge of corporation tax
• Some audit experience would be preferred but not essential
• Good IT skills such as Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Confidence with accounting software, preferably CCH
• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and committed
• Good communicator and a team player
• Professional and organised

• Continued support in career progression and structured CPD; additional support with further professional exams may be offered after a probationary period
