About the Firm Our client is a Top 10 professional services firm recognised for its forward-thinking approach to audit, advisory, and assurance. The business is investing heavily in technology-led markets, and is now seeking an Audit Partner to lead its growing Digital Assets & Crypto assurance practice.
This role will shape how the firm serves clients operating in blockchain, digital asset custody, tokenisation, and fintech innovation — from scale-ups to institutional financial platforms.
Role OverviewAs an Audit Partner – Digital Assets & Crypto
, you’ll lead and expand a high-growth portfolio, combining audit quality leadership with strategic business development. You’ll act as the firm’s signing Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring the delivery of exceptional audit standards and regulatory compliance across a fast-evolving and technically complex sector.
- Partner Leadership: Lead the UK audit portfolio for clients in digital assets, blockchain, and fintech sectors.
- RI Authority: Act as the Responsible Individual for statutory audits — signing audit opinions and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and ethical frameworks.
- Audit Quality & Governance: Uphold the highest levels of audit quality, risk management, and technical excellence in accordance with FRC expectations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build deep, trusted partnerships with boards, founders, and investors in digital-first financial ecosystems.
- Commercial Growth: Drive business development — identifying, winning, and delivering new audit mandates through your network and market presence.
- Thought Leadership: Position the firm as a leading voice on assurance in digital assets, crypto regulation, and emerging financial technologies.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop senior managers and directors, supporting progression towards RI status and partner track.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / equivalent).
- Current RI status
- Extensive experience within a Top 10 or Big 4 audit environment
, ideally including exposure to financial services, fintech, or digital asset clients. - Strong understanding of crypto and digital asset ecosystems
, including custody models, blockchain audit risks, and valuation challenges. - Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UK GAAP
, with the ability to apply complex standards to novel digital asset scenarios. - Proven ability to win and grow audit mandates
, with a commercial mindset and a history of delivering revenue growth. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Base salary up to £300,000
