Semi Senior Accountant Croydon - office based £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (with flexibility for the right experience) Permanent | Full-Time An established and growing accountancy practice in Croydon is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to broaden their experience whilst working with a varied and interesting client portfolio.

The Role You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of clients and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Duties will include:
Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Working with FRS
102 and FRS
105 reporting standards Completion of self-assessment tax returns Preparation of corporation tax returns Preparation and submission of VAT returns Bookkeeping for a variety of clients Liaising directly with clients and providing day-to-day support and advice Assisting with general practice accounting duties as required About You The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Good understanding of FRS
102 and FRS
105

Experience with bookkeeping and VAT returns Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and client-focused approach Qualifications Experience is more important than qualifications , and applicants who can demonstrate strong practice experience will be considered, whether qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
