Senior Accountant

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

We're working with an established international group to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing finance team. This is a broad role covering financial and management accounting, month-end reporting, VAT, audit, intercompany accounting and financial controls, with exposure to overseas entities and branches. The role will include:
Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts Month-end and year-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals Consolidation and IFRS adjustments for group reporting Management of intercompany accounts and recharges Preparation of UK and European VAT returns, Intrastat and ESL Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Managing the external audit process Maintaining the fixed asset register Supporting overseas finance teams and working with external tax advisers Providing finance and ERP support across the wider business Supporting ERP developments and process improvements Providing back-up support to treasury operations

About you:

Qualified accountant with 3 years' post-qualified experience Strong financial accounting and month-end experience Strong experience with ledgers and reconciliations Experience working with an integrated ERP system Good understanding of IFRS and FRS 102 This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a broad, hands-on Senior Accountant position within an international environment, with exposure across multiple areas of finance and overseas operations.
