Admin/Contract Support Manager

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) seeks an Administration and Contract Support Manager for the Estates, Facilities & PFI Directorate.
This role does not offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 positions as they do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration regulations.
Key responsibilities- Work closely with the Estates Operations Team to provide comprehensive administrative and contract support.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare and circulate agendas and papers, take accurate minutes and follow up actions.
- Maintain accurate records and data across departmental IT systems.
- Support the administration and monitoring of labour management systems, contracts, service level agreements, ordering, recharging and invoicing processes.
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence to ensure continuity of service.
- Contribute to the training and induction of new staff and share guidance and best practice.
- Ensure communication of complex information to colleagues, contractors and external organisations, using effective channels to facilitate timely information flow.
- Good general education including GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
- NVQ Level 4 in Administration or equivalent;
Diploma/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams (and Access, PowerPoint). - Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role essential; NHS experience such as ESR and ELFS desirable.
- Experience in minute‑taking desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills; flexible, proactive and able to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; good knowledge of administrative procedures; ability to use IT effectively.
- Good knowledge of administrative procedures.
- Previous office experience within the last two years.
- Previous NHS experience.
