The roleWe're looking for an organised, discreet and detail‑oriented Office & Finance Administrator to support the day‑to‑day running of our office and finance function. This is a part‑time position with negotiable hours (typically 20–25 hours per week), worked on a hybrid basis from our Suffolk office and home. Working patterns can flex around school hours or other commitments tell us what works for you.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Raising client invoices, tracking receivables and chasing overdue accounts politely and professionally
- Processing supplier bills, purchase orders and expense reconciliations in Xero
- Supporting monthly payroll prep and liaising with our accountants
- Keeping the office running smoothly supplies, post, visitor coordination, meeting bookings
- Light HR administration: onboarding paperwork, holiday tracking, document filing
- Helping the leadership team with reporting, minutes and general operations support
You're calm, methodical and take genuine pride in accurate work. You enjoy variety, can juggle office and finance tasks without dropping the ball, and you're comfortable working independently on hybrid days.

Key Requirements- Proven experience in a bookkeeping, finance admin or office administration role
- Excellent written and spoken English with a professional phone manner
- Discreet and reliable when handling confidential financial and staff data
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Pro‑rate salary £26,000–£35,000 (depending on experience and hours)
- Negotiable part‑time hours — flexible around school runs and other commitments
