Business Support Administrator – Assurance
Are you the kind of person who spots the little details others might miss? Do you enjoy keeping things organised, making sure everything is in the right place and helping a busy team stay on track?
We’re looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our Assurance team. You’ll have plenty of variety, from coordinating auditor visits and keeping client records up to date, to checking documentation, supporting training courses and making sure important certificates and reports are issued accurately and on time.
It’s a role where being organised really matters, and where your attention to detail will make a real difference to both the team and our clients.
What you’ll be doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Coordinating the administration around auditor site visits and keeping track of reports and deadlines
- Maintaining accurate client records, certificates and documentation
- Checking reports and documentation before they’re issued to clients
- Supporting certification and verification projects
- Helping organise client training courses, including rooms, materials, agendas and certificates
- Keeping information up to date across systems including OMnet, SharePoint and external portals
- Supporting auditors, verifiers and the wider Assurance team with day-to-day administration
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to come to us knowing everything about certification or verification. We’re looking for someone who is organised, accurate, good at managing different priorities and confident communicating with people.
You’ll ideally have some previous administrative or customer-facing experience, GCSE English at Grade 5/C or above and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. If you’re positive, helpful and keen to learn, we’ll support you with the rest. Experience with database systems or a Business Administration qualification would be a bonus, but isn’t essential, and full training will be provided.
Why join us?
You’ll be joining a business where your work connects with a wide range of industries, with Lucideon CICS providing assurance services across voluntary and mandatory standards, alongside Lucideon’s wider expertise in materials science, testing, characterisation, analysis and evaluation.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at our Penkhull office in Stoke-on-Trent.
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and our Christmas shutdown
- private medical cover
- a medical cash plan
- pension contributions matched up to 5%
- life assurance
- access to onsite Mental Health First Aiders
