Sales Manager

Overview

BMW Stoke is seeking a Sales Manager. The successful candidate will receive an industry leading remuneration package with access to in‑house training. The role reports to the General Manager and involves leading by example in customer service excellence.

Salary:
Up to £70,000 OTE (basic up to £45,000–50,000 DOE plus bonus)

Hours:

44 hours per week (Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00, Sat 9:00–17:00, Sun 11:00–15:00 on rota)

• Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone and showroom
• Managing staff performance from structured 1:1s to training and development
• Implementing department targets and brand KPIs
• Responsible for buying in vehicles and maintaining up‑to‑date stock pricing
• Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department
• Managing and owning Customer Satisfaction
• Overseeing day‑to‑day showroom operations including vehicle valuations, workshop prep, imaging and showroom presentation
• Collaborating with the divisional buyer, prep technicians, detailers and photography team to meet marketing standards

You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You should be able to demonstrate experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member.

Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly is essential. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations and have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. A full UK driving licence is essential.
