The Role

The Markets Team is a small team of 15, who work closely to deliver the Market Offer at 4 indoor locations and 3 outdoor locations across the city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Health and Safety of the market halls in line with legislation
  • Manage the legal compliance around the Charter and licencing requirements of traders
  • Assist with budget management across the markets estate
  • Manage the occupancy rates in line with SOTCC targets
  • Ensure delivery of market standards
About You
  • Must have knowledge of Food Safety Legislation
  • Must have knowledge of Health and Safety with the ability to evidence this at management level
  • Must have experience of completing Risk Assessments
  • Must have experience of managing performance against budgets
  • Must have experience of leading a team
  • A retail background would be advantageous
