Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades

Cheadle - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + package

A well-established and growing joinery, fit-out and multi-trades contractor based in Cheadle, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors. The business has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, reliability and long-standing client relationships, working with main contractors and developers across the North West and beyond.

With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

As Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades, you will be responsible for:

Managing the commercial aspects of multiple joinery, fit-out and multi-trade packages

Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts

Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting

Procurement and management of subcontractors

Variations management and negotiation

Monitoring project costs to ensure profitability and margin control

Supporting project teams to ensure commercial compliance and efficiency

Liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders

This role offers a mix of office-based work in Cheadle and site visits across the North West.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades will have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out or multi-trade subcontracting

Strong knowledge of commercial processes and contract administration

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

A proactive, commercially astute approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team
