We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in the Midlands to initially work on a new build Industrial project in Stoke. WhatYou’ll Do
- Working on a variety of projects in the Midlands Region reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager.
- The role will be a mix of office and site based work and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible.
- Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
- Project experience across Industrial, Logistics, Commercial or Residential.
- Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
- Knowledge of current Construction Law.
- Experience in commercial management.
- Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
- Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
