Introduction to Powder
24

Powder
24 sits behind a portfolio of specialist travel brands, including NUCO Travel, White Road, Wasteland Travel and Erna Low. We provide the infrastructure, expertise and operational support that allows each brand to focus on what makes it distinct, while giving our people access to the scale, career opportunities and community of a wider group. Every year, we help thousands of customers experience the mountains, whether that is a university ski trip or a family booking a bespoke ski holiday.

It is a fast-paced, close-knit business built by people who genuinely love what they do, and we are growing quickly.

Introduction to the Role

Are you a recent graduate looking for your foot in the door of an exciting, fast-growing company? This is it.

The Travel Assistant role is the entry point into our Sales and Customer Experience department and the first step on our front-line career path. No travel industry experience is needed: you will be trained from day one across our three core areas, Sales, Customer Experience and Resort Support, with close support and shadowing from your Travel Specialist and Travel Consultant colleagues along the way.

It is a genuinely varied, hands-on role. You will speak to a wide range of customers across all our brands, from families and couples to corporate clients and students, and get real exposure to how a specialist travel business runs behind the scenes. For someone eager to learn and get stuck in, this is a role where you can quickly become an integral part of the team, and there is a clear path from here to Travel Specialist.

Please note this role carries seasonal weekend cover, including full shifts most weekends from December to April and all weekends over the Christmas, January and Easter peaks. Weekend shifts at this level are always worked alongside more senior colleagues and the Manager on Duty.

  • Escalate anything outside standard guidance to a more senior colleague
  • Keep booking platform records accurate and up to date throughout every customer interaction
  • Observe and support complaint handling to build understanding, before taking on simple cases under close supervision

  • Updating records and carrying out administrative tasks during live shifts, building accuracy and speed over time
  • Build familiarity with live incident protocols and resort operations through training and shadowing
Candidate Profile Essential
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and genuine willingness to learn
  • A recent graduate, or equivalent, looking to start their career in a fast paced, customer focused business
