Position: Salaried GP- SPONSORED ROLE

Job summary

To work as an autonomous
practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice
population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying
with the contract.

Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the
GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective
management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive,
collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job Salaried GP Core Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to the practice population, ensuring services align with primary care contracts.

Prescribe generically in line with local and national guidelines.

Manage long-term conditions effectively and process administrative tasks promptly, including referrals and prescriptions.

Participate in telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis.

Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to best practices, clinical guidelines, and audit recommendations.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support continuous development within the practice.

Accept delegated responsibilities for specific areas, including QOF.Attend practice meetings and contribute to clinical governance and training.

Ensure compliance with appraisals, revalidation, and ongoing professional development.

Support medical student training and collaborate with partners to enhance service delivery and financial sustainability.

Adhere to practice policies, encourage teamwork, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Secondary Responsibilities Participate in practice audits and local service initiatives.

Contribute to reviewing significant and near-miss events using structured analysis.
