Role Overview :
Aspire People, one of the UK's fastest-growing education recruitment specialists, are partnering with a secondary high school in Stoke on Trent to find a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher for September 2025.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of DT disciplines across KS3 and KS4, including Food Technology.
The position is initially for one term, with the likelihood of extending until July 2026, providing stability and a longer-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of Design and Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Deliver engaging lessons across multiple disciplines including Food Technology, Product Design, and Textiles.
Work collaboratively with a great team within the DT department.
Support students in developing both practical and theoretical skills.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related subject.
Ability to teach all DT disciplines at KS3 and KS4.
ECTs are welcome to apply - we offer full support for early-career teachers.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
