General Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for General Cover Supervisors to cover both short and long-term sickness.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate wanting to gain further experience within a mainstream secondary school before pursuing a career in teaching.

• Subject specific/general cover opportunities
• Covering the Teacher in their absence
• Covering KS3 and KS4
• Managing behaviour and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• All work is pre-set and resources prepared

• Experience working with young people (in any setting)
• A genuine passion for working with young people
• Confidence, adaptability and organisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
