History Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / Easter Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a passionate History Teacher ready for your next long-term role?

Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good'-rated secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent for a full-time History Teacher. The role is 5 days a week, starting from Easter (13th April) and running until the end of the summer term, with the opportunity for extension for the right candidate.

About the Role:

Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback
Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential

Applicant Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a related subject (essential)
Recent experience teaching History up to KS4 (ECTs welcome)
Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students' curiosity and interest in History
