Position:
Progress Coach (August 2026‑Start)

We are seeking to appoint a Progress Coach to support students in their transition to college and to provide ongoing support through tutorial groups, smaller focused sessions and one‑to‑one meetings, enabling them to successfully complete their programme of study and achieve their maximum potential. The post holder will check and monitor student attendance within their caseload and help to design and deliver a tutorial programme.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to students and setting high standards for their behaviour and engagement with the college.
  • Responding promptly where barriers to learning are identified by carrying out proactive intervention strategies and referring learners to relevant support where required to ensure success.
  • Recognising and responding promptly to the specific needs of all learners to ensure they are successful on their college journey.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of working with and supporting young people is desirable.
