The college is looking to appoint an English Lecturer on a temporary to permanent basis from September. The successful English Lecturer will be delivering GCSE and Functional Skills English, planning engaging lessons, monitoring learner progress, and supporting students to achieve successful outcomes, so availability for a September start is essential.

The successful English Lecturer will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English

• Experience working within a Further Education setting

• Strong classroom management

• Excellent communication skills

• A confident and adaptable approach
