Industry Placement Officer

The Potteries Educational Trust, through the City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College, is seeking an Industry Placement Officer to support the development of student industry placements across our growing number of T Level qualifications.

• Identify local, regional and national employers to facilitate high‑quality placement opportunities.
• Ensure partner employers are aware of, and compliant with, relevant legislation and best‑practice guidance to support students having positive placement experiences.
• Provide individual and group support to students, helping them represent the college well and develop requisite skills before and during their industry placement.
• Collaborate with other existing Industry Placement Officers within the Trust to maintain and improve placement quality.

This is a whole‑year position, but flexible working patterns such as term‑time only or flexible start and finish times may be discussed at the selection stage to meet the business needs of the Trust.
