R.E Teacher

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Stoke that is seeking to appoint an RE Teacher. The school fosters a warm, supportive, and orderly environment where staff and students interact positively, expectations are high, and classrooms remain focused on learning and achievement.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated RE Teacher on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. The successful RE Teacher will be responsible for teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, alongside Music lessons where required, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining high standards of classroom management and attainment.

The successful RE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Religious Education specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Religious Education up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting

• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

• Excellent classroom management skills

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
