We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs through specialist intervention, positive behaviour support and high-quality classroom assistance.

Who We're Looking For We Want Someone Who…- Has experience supporting children with SEND and/or vulnerable learners
- Provides specialist intervention support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Acts as a behaviour specialist, using positive behaviour support strategies
- Has a good understanding of SEND support and inclusive practice
- Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Is committed to safeguarding and child welfare
- Works well as part of a supportive, child-centred team
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development
What You'll Do Specialist Intervention Support
- Deliver structured, targeted interventions to support learning progress
- Work with teachers and specialists to implement EHCPs and support plans
- Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs and promote inclusion
- Use positive behaviour support strategies to promote regulation, engagement and positive choices
- Support pupils to manage their emotions and build resilience
- Help create calm, safe and structured environments that enable learning
- Provide high-quality support to pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs
- Support teachers in planning and delivering inclusive lessons
- Promote independence, engagement and progress
- Assist with routines, transitions and daily living skills as needed
- A therapeutic and inclusive school environment
