In addition to meeting the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:
Responsibilities- Be an ambitious and reflective practitioner at the start of their teaching career
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring every child receives the best possible start to their education
- Be committed to their own professional development and making the most of ECT support and mentoring
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
- Secure understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 2
- The ability to plan and deliver well-structured lessons that support progression and maintain high levels of engagement
- Developing confidence in assessment for learning, using this to inform next steps and adapt teaching
- An understanding of how to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- The ability to contribute to a language-rich classroom environment, supporting early communication, vocabulary and oracy
- Skills in creating a positive, well‑managed and nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and resilience
