Overview

Secondary MFL Teacher position at a well‑regarded secondary school in Congleton. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Full‑time, long‑term, delivering lessons at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The school has a strong behaviour policy and supportive senior leadership team, providing an excellent environment for a consistent role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable teaching approach.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists.
