Overview
Teaching Assistant position in Stoke-on-Trent. Full-time, immediate start. The role involves one-to-one support for a student with additional needs within a primary school setting.
Responsibilities- Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a student with additional needs in a primary school environment.
- Help the student access the curriculum and participate in class activities.
- Collaborate with the class teacher, SEND team and other staff to plan and deliver inclusive learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care as required.
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or equivalent for ratio purposes).
- Experience with children who have additional needs.
- Experience with in a Primary School (preferably 6+ months).
- Updated and current DBS on the update service.
- Ability to inspire children and work effectively as part of a team.
