Salary: £82.62 - £95.43 per day (may be negotiable depending on experience)

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join the team at Blythe Bridge High School in Stoke-on-Trent. We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors as well as individuals with transferable skills and experience, such as sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, mentors, and community leaders.

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Ensuring students complete the work that has been set and remain focused on their learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting students with their work and providing guidance where appropriate.
• Reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant members of staff.
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Assisting with general classroom activities as required.

• Experience:
  
  Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• Enhanced DBS:
  Registered on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one.
• Skills:
  
  Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability:
  Ability to work confidently across different subjects and classroom environments.
• Attitude: A positive, proactive approach and a genuine commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
