Heron Cross Primary School is a creative and joyful primary school where children are at the centre of all that we do. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive individual to join our busy school office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the daily life of our school, building positive relationships with pupils, families, staff, and visitors.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making a real difference in a welcoming and supportive environment.

As the first point of contact for many members of our school community, you will help create a positive experience for everyone who visits or contacts the school. In return, you will become part of a dedicated team committed to supporting children and helping them thrive.

Our new Admin & Finance Assistant will benefit from:

  • A Head Teacher who is driven to provide the very best education for the children;
  • A supportive happy atmosphere in the workplace;
  • Enthusiastic, well behaved and respectful pupils;
  • Supportive and appreciative parents and a strong sense of community spirit

Whether you have previous school office experience or are looking to bring your transferable administrative and customer service skills into education, we would love to hear from you.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A DBS at enhanced level will be required.

Visits to the school are strongly recommended.
