Job Description Warehouse & Storage Tutor/Trainer

Our client is expanding its training provision and is seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse & Storage Tutor/Trainer to join its team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an opportunity for an experienced warehouse, logistics or supply chain professional—or an established tutor/trainer—to use their occupational knowledge to help learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into employment and successful careers.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, practical training in warehouse and storage operations.
  • Deliver learning across logistics and supply chain topics.
  • Teach Level 2 warehouse qualifications and programmes.
  • Support apprenticeship training and assessment.
  • Develop practical workplace skills and safe working practices.
  • Deliver employability, CV and interview preparation.
  • Coach learners, monitor progress and support development.
  • Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment where applicable.
Forklift truck training

The ability to deliver Forklift Truck (FLT) training is a major advantage. our client is particularly interested in candidates holding a recognised FLT Instructor/Trainer qualification with experience of Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck training.

Candidate profile
  • Strong occupational experience in warehousing, logistics, storage or supply chain operations.
  • Experience training, coaching, mentoring or assessing others.
  • Teaching and/or assessor qualifications are preferred.
  • Industry professionals willing to work towards appropriate teaching or assessor qualifications will also be considered.
  • Strong commitment to learner development, safe working and employability outcomes.
Package
  • Starting salary of £30,000, dependent on experience.
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Location

Stoke-on-Trent / North Staffordshire. This is an on-site delivery role.
