Psychology Graduate – SEN School Support Assistant

Are you a Psychology, Criminology, Education or related graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with children and young people?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN School Support Assistants to work within a specialist SEN and SEMH setting in Stoke
, supporting pupils with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, emotional regulation needs and challenging behaviour.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build experience before pursuing careers in:

About the Role

As an SEN School Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils
  • Help students manage emotions and develop confidence
  • Support engagement with learning and classroom activities
  • Build positive relationships with young people

    Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff
  • Gain valuable experience within a specialist education environment

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
