Are you a dynamic, energetic and passionate professional who believes that deaf children and young people can achieve extraordinary things?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join our dedicated team. Applications are welcomed from both qualified Teachers of the Deaf and experienced SEND professionals who are willing to undertake the mandatory training and gain the qualification while in post. This is an exciting opportunity to work with deaf children and young people across a range of educational settings, helping them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

• Provide specialist teaching, advice and support for deaf children and young people.
• Work closely with families, educational settings and professionals to ensure children achieve their full potential.
• Support inclusive practice across a variety of educational environments.
• Contribute to assessment, planning and the development of effective strategies to meet individual needs.

• Strong IT and digital skills.
• An interest in developing and implementing technology to support deaf children and young people.
• Experience of using innovative approaches and assistive technologies to enhance access, communication and learning.
