Teacher Active is proud to be working with a SEND setting in the ST7 area of Stoke-on-Trent supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The setting supports pupils across mixed Key Stages and provides a structured environment focused on helping each pupil engage positively with their education.

The setting is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different Key Stages, assist with learning and behaviour management, and work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support tailored to individual needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and SEMH needs
Experience working across different Key Stages
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A resilient, patient and adaptable approach
