HISTORY TEACHER REQUIRED - STOKE ON TRENT SEPTEMBER 2026 START

Aspire People are currently working with a secondary school in Stoke on Trent who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about History and wants to inspire students to understand the past, develop their analytical skills and achieve their full potential.
THE ROLE- History Teacher
- Secondary school - Stoke on Trent
- Start date:
September 2026 - Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 History
- KS5 experience would be advantageous
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and creative lessons
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
You should have:- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for History and education
- The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
- A commitment to supporting students to achieve their potential
