Vision for Education are currently recruiting Cover Teachers with QTS to work in secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent
.
As a Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will ensure continuity of learning, maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold high standards of behaviour.

- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Maintain a positive, focused and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students in completing set work and achieving their learning objectives
- Adapt confidently to different schools, subjects and classroom environments
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of mainstream secondary schools throughout Stoke-on-Trent
, from smaller community schools to larger academies.

Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability across different subjects and schools
- Confidence delivering lessons outside of your specialism
- A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning and development
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
