Teacher Active is proud to be working with a SEND school based in Stoke. The school supports students with SEMH / Social Emotional Mental Health and EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. This school that supports 11-19 years, boasts fantastic leadership and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a nurturing and committed Maths Teacher with QTS, on a Long-Term basis until the end of the academic year. This might lead to a permanent position for the right English Teacher. The successful English Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4/ KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE’s.

The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.  

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

QTS (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

Experience teaching Maths across Secondary Key Stages

Excellent classroom management
