Structural Engineer

Overview

Structural Engineer (mid or senior level) – Cheadle (Hybrid working) – c40k - 55k (DOE) + package. We are pleased to be recruiting a structural engineer with 4 - 10 years experience on behalf of a well established civil structural consultancy in Cheadle working on a diverse portfolio of buildings projects across sectors including commercial, residential, high rise, education, industrial and leisure.

• You will be a structural engineer with 4 yrs+ design with experience on a range of medium/large projects utilising differing materials (concrete, steel, masonary, timber) designing efficient and sustainable building solutions.
• Producing detailed designs, calculations and specifications
• Proficient in the use of software such as TSD, Tedds, Etabs etc (hand calcs desirable)
• Suit either a competent structural engineer approaching senior or a senior structural engineer now looking for a better opportunity
• In a senior role take a lead on projects and mentor more junior engineers
• Support completing chartership (if not chartered already).
