Position: Engineering Manager (Permanent)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Are you an Engineering Manager with proven experience of working within a ceramic or FMCG environment. Do you have a passion to drive innovation as well as high standards of safety and compliance? As Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering at this company you will be responsible in helping build a plan for the future to support the business's growth and sustainability goals.

You will have strong knowledge of lean manufacturing within an automated factory.

This role offers a salary of up to £75K dependant on experience + 10% bonus

Scope of the Role:

Lead and manage the Engineering function within a busy manufacturing business
Ensuring the delivery of strategic engineering initiatives, continuous improvement and operational excellence
This role is pivotal in driving innovation and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
Support the companies growth and sustainability goals

This role will be split into 4 pillars that will include and not be limited to:

Strategic leadership - Lead capital investment projects and infrastructure upgrades
Team Management - Lead, mentor and develop the engineering team
Operational Excellence - Monitor and improve engineering KPI's
Compliance and Safety - ensure all engineering activities comply with health safety and environmental regulations

Suitable Candidate:

Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering with proven experience of the above
Managed a team of Engineers within a Ceramic or FMCG environment
Degree qualified is advantageous
Chartered Engineer is advantageous
Strong leadership and communication skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Commercial awareness
Budget management experience
Ability to influence cross functional teams
Ability to successfully drive change
