Our client based in Stoke on Trent are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various CAD software applications.
You will be working on the Design/ Manufacture/ Fabrication/ Installation of Steelwork to the UK's most high Profile and demanding Construction Projects Candidates for this role are preferred to have experience in Metalwork and Steelwork industries
Experience with AutoCAD/ Inventor/ Solidworks.
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities:
- Produce GA's working to Datum's and Grid lines.
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings.
- Design of Staircases Balustrades and Secondary Steelwork
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD/ Inventor/ Solidworks. All platforms are available to users
- Projects include some of the UK's highest profile construction projects.
- Must be able to work from own initiative.
- Must be able to communicate well with customers/ suppliers.
- Experience using AutoCAD and Tekla essential
- Experience in Solid Works or Inventor beneficial
- Preferred to have experience in the Steelwork industry.
