Job Overview
Working for a specialist engineering firm that designs, manufactures and installs bespoke work in the construction industry.
Job Description- Produce GA's working to Datum's and Grid lines.
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings.
- Design staircases, balustrades and secondary steelwork.
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD/Inventor/Solid Works. All platforms are available to users.
- Manage projects including some of the UK’s highest profile construction projects.
- Work from own initiative.
- Communicate well with customers/suppliers.
- Experience using AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with BIM or Tekla essential.
- Experience in Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor is essential.
- Experience with in steelworks or metalworks would be highly advantageous; we will consider a CAD Designer who has used other materials.
- 3D experience vital and ideally 3‑D modelling.
Commutable from:
Stoke on Trent, Fenton, Longton, Uttoxeter, Cheadle, Leek, Newcastle under Lyme, Keele, Stone, Stafford and surrounding areas.
Monday – Friday. Start and finish times flexible between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Salary£45,000 – £55,000 per annum.
