Position: Senior / Associate Structural Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent

A highly respected and growing privately-owned engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer / Associate Director to play a key role in the continued growth and leadership of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious structural engineer who is looking to step into a senior leadership position within a company that is going from strength to strength, offering genuine influence, autonomy, and long-term career progression.

The Role

You will lead and manage structural engineering projects across a diverse portfolio, working closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders while helping to shape the future direction of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading structural design and delivery across multiple projects

* Managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities

* Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians

* Overseeing technical standards and project quality

* Working collaboratively with civil and BIM teams

* Supporting business growth and contributing strategically at senior level

Projects are varied and include work across commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use sectors.

About You

* Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar

* Chartered Engineer status preferred (or working towards)

* Strong background in structural design and project delivery

* Experience managing clients and leading teams

* Proficient with relevant structural design software

* Commercial awareness and strong communication skills

* Ambitious, proactive, and keen to contribute at leadership level
