What your day will look like

The successful candidate will support our Occupational Hygiene team in delivering high‑quality assessments for clients across the UK. This hands‑on role involves conducting workplace monitoring, coordinating with external laboratories, interpreting data, and preparing clear, professional reports. You’ll also help manage equipment, project documentation, and calibration processes.

  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify chemical, biological and physical health hazards
  • Measure and sample personal exposure levels accurately
  • Use specialist equipment to assess noise, vibration and other workplace stressors
  • Analyse and interpret data to evaluate health risks and recommend practical control measures
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations and best practice
  • Prepare clear reports, documents and presentations to communicate findings
  • Liaise professionally with employers, employees and site contacts during assessments
  • Travel to client sites across the UK as part of your day‑to‑day work
  • Prepare and ship samples to external laboratories
Skills and experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and cooperation with clients and their workforce
  • Confidence in analysing, interpreting and presenting data clearly and accurately
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively to deadlines
  • Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and a range of software tools
  • A commitment to high‑quality customer service, with a genuine passion for meeting client expectations and maintaining strong service standards
  • A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel across the UK and adapt working hours to meet client needs
